How to Scan Paper into Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Standard

Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Standard provides an efficient way to scan paper documents into digital format, making it easier to manage and share your files. To scan paper into Acrobat from a TWAIN device, follow these steps:

'1' Go to the Acrobat toolbar and click the Create button once.

'2' Choose From Scanner from the drop-down menu.

Not all scanners support TWAIN drivers, which can make scanning more difficult. The Fujitsu ScanSnap, for example, does not include a TWAIN driver. However, many scanners do come with TWAIN drivers installed along with their software. If your scanner does not have a TWAIN driver, you may need to purchase a different model that supports this standard.

'3' I personally prefer scanning directly into Acrobat rather than using the ScanSnap's own software to scan to PDF.
